Terms and Conditions of Sale

Article 1 - Preamble

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&C) govern the contractual relationship between DBF École de Pilotage, a simplified joint-stock company (SASU), hereinafter referred to as "the School" or "DBF", and any person wishing to benefit from the services offered, hereinafter referred to as "the Client".

Acceptance of these T&C is materialized by booking a course or purchasing credits on our online platform. This acceptance entails full and unreserved adherence by the Client to these T&C.

Article 2 - Purpose

DBF École de Pilotage offers motocross courses for young people aged 5 to 15, taught by Denis Bron-Fontanaz, FFM certified instructor.

Services offered:

  • Morning motocross courses (2h) and afternoon courses (3h)
  • Training with or without equipment rental
  • Professional supervision on FFM-approved tracks
  • 10-course packages with preferential rates

Article 3 - Booking Process

Bookings are made exclusively via our online platform accessible from your client area.

Booking steps:

  • User account creation
  • Profile completion (mandatory for safety)
  • Selection of an available time slot
  • Choice of payment method (credit balance or direct payment)
  • Booking confirmation

📋 Important information

Any booking paid with credit balance is automatically confirmed. Bookings paid by bank card are confirmed after payment validation.

Article 4 - Pricing and Payment

Prices are displayed in euros including VAT and can be consulted on our website and in your client area.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Bank card payment via Stripe (secure)
  • Use of credit balance

Packages and benefits:

Purchasing packages (10-course packs) allows you to benefit from preferential rates. The value credited to your account may be higher than the amount paid, thus constituting savings for the client.

Article 5 - Credit Balance Management

Credit balance operation:

  • Credit balance allows booking courses without immediate payment
  • It can be recharged via package or individual credit purchases
  • Balance is viewable at any time in your client area
  • Priority use: balance is automatically used if sufficient

⏰ Credit validity

Purchased credits are valid for 1 year from the purchase date. After this period, unused credits will be automatically removed from the client account. No refund will be made for expired credits.

Balance recharge:

  • Purchase of 10-course packages (morning or afternoon)
  • Recharge via secure Stripe payment
  • Immediate credit addition after payment validation

Article 6 - Cancellation and Refund

Cancellation policy:

  • Cancellations must be made via the client area ("My Bookings")
  • Cancellation possible up to 24 hours before the session start
  • Late cancellations (less than 24h): refund at the school's discretion
  • Unreported absence: no refund

Refund procedures:

🔄 Booking paid with credit balance:

The amount equivalent to the cancelled course is automatically re-credited to the client balance. This refund is instant and immediately visible in the client area.

💳 Booking paid by bank card:

A refund is automatically initiated via Stripe to the payment method used. Processing time depends on your bank (generally 3 to 7 business days).

Cancellations by the school:

In case of course cancellation by the school (weather conditions, instructor unavailability, technical problem), a full refund is made according to the same procedures as above.

⚠️ Weather conditions

In case of dangerous weather conditions (heavy rain, storms, strong wind), the school reserves the right to cancel courses for safety reasons. These cancellations result in a full refund.

Article 7 - Responsibility and Safety

School responsibility:

  • Supervision by FFM certified instructor
  • Equipment conforming to safety standards
  • FFM-approved tracks
  • Professional liability insurance

Client responsibility:

  • Respect safety instructions given by the instructor
  • Provide accurate information during registration (age, height, weight, level)
  • Report any health problem that may affect practice
  • Wear the protective equipment provided or required

As motocross is a risky sport activity, the client acknowledges having been informed and accepts the risks inherent to this practice.

Article 8 - Intellectual Property

All website elements (texts, images, logos, videos) are protected by intellectual property rights. Any reproduction, even partial, is prohibited without express authorization.

Article 9 - Personal Data

Personal data collected is processed in accordance with GDPR. For more information about data processing, consult our legal notice.

Article 10 - Applicable Law and Disputes

These T&C are subject to French law. In case of dispute, the competent courts are those of the jurisdiction of the school's registered office.

In accordance with regulations, the client may resort to consumer mediation in case of unresolved dispute.

Article 11 - T&C Modification

The school reserves the right to modify these T&C at any time. New conditions apply to orders placed after they are put online. Clients will be informed of any substantial modification.
